What is processed when you visit

Server logs: When a page is requested, our host processes technically necessary connection data. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure operation. We keep no access logs of our own. The host deletes its logs automatically after a short period; anything kept longer is kept only to resolve a specific fault or case of misuse, and only until that is settled.
Hosting: This website runs at DigitalOcean, LLC in the Frankfurt am Main data centre. The basis is the data processing agreement contained in their terms of service.
Transfer to the USA: The host is based in the United States, so access from there cannot be ruled out. For that transfer it relies on its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, as a fallback, on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. A copy of these safeguards is available on request at [email protected].
No cookies, no tracking pixels: No cookies are set and no analytics tools are used. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
Getting in touch: If you write to us, we process your details to handle the enquiry under Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR and delete them once the matter is closed and no retention duty applies.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, usually the one where you live or the authority responsible for Baden-Württemberg.
